Hey Lacey B.
While I’m not applying to nursing school, I was premed and now am predent and applying to dental school. And I can tell you that the issue of Ws is iffy. However after talking to a dentist who is on the admissions board for a dental school, he and many others came to the conclusion that a few Ws are understandable (no one is perfect) but not to overdo them. I recently had a terrible semester of depression and all sorts of issues and had to withdraw completely (5 Ws), and that’s not even mentioning the 3 Ws I have from what I did in comm college when I was way younger (16ish). However my other grades are superb and I hope to maintain them that way and I have good ECs and I’m studying now to do well on my dental admissions test which will hopefully overcome 1 bad semester. We all have a bad semester, in fact it’s quite a common question “Which was your bad semester?”, trust me!
