Will This Hurt My Chances Of Getting Into A Nursing Program?
This Question From Top Nursing Schools | 1 Answer
QUESTION:
I took all the pre reqs to get into a nursing program for a local community college RN program. In the past, I was actually admitted into a top rated nursing program when I was a sophomore in college. I switched majors to do business.
I want to go back to nursing school because my mom was diagnosed with cancer and now I want to be an oncology nurse some day and help others going through what my mother is.
However, since I was already in a nursing program (and quit) I worry that this will keep me from getting in. The RN program I want to get into is at a community college. The nursing program I was in before was a Tier 1, four year college.
Will the fact that I quit before hurt my chances this time around?

I don’t think it will. It is always better to quit then fail.
