Why Do Nurses Start Off Making $65,000 A Year In Georgia?
This Question From Georgia Nursing Schools | The Question Has 1 Answer
i know their is a shortage, but i don’t understand when they are offering that kind of money why their would be a shortage. before you tell me the nursing program are super cometative to get into they are not in georgia, in fact it is relatively easy. my friend has a 3.0 and had just gotten a D in psychology and still made it into the program. when she graduated she has a low gpa (under 3.0), and still managed to get out making $65,000 a year. you may say nurses are smart, but she is not the brightest crayon in the box. in fact she overdosed a patient one time and doubled the medication she had for another patient. my other friends that are in nursing program are of average intelligents. i am not trying to insult nurses here, my mom was a nurse. i just don’t think they should start off making more than an engineer or architect.
