What should I do for school?

I’m a senior in high school and I’m applying to colleges right now. i want to be a nurse, and am going to be a pre-nursing major.
I’m trying to find the right schools to apply too.
I want to be in a school that is preferably in, or relatively near, a nice metropolitan area, so i would have a variety of opportunities for internships and so on.
Also, my counselor said it doesn’t matter where i go to school for nursing because employers don’t care. A nurse is a nurse. Is there truth behind his statement?
What do you think about the following colleges, in terms of location?
Another important factor is social life…I’m a social butterfly and I like parties and I cant stand just doing nothing on the weekends.

Btw, i live in northern california ( San francisco area)
and i dont mind leaving the state, as long as its not a random state like mississippi or nebraska. haha
