Uab School Of Nursing – Transportation While Living On Campus?

I know there is some amount of public transportation at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, but I am curious if anyone who has been through the nursing (BSN) program there knows if it’s possible to attend all the clinicals without bringing your own transportation?
I’m moving to campus and don’t want to bring my own vehicle if I don’t have to, but I have to be able to get to clinicals and am not sure how far from campus the clinicals take place and whether the public transportation reaches anywhere close to them.
