Teacher Salary Vs. School Nurse Salary… Who Makes More $?
This Question From Maine Nursing Schools | The Question Has 1 Answer
I have been reading a lot of forums about school nurses and many say that school nurses are conisered “support staff” and therefore, they don’t get paid well, aren’t unionized, don’t get pay raises every year, and don’t get all of the retirement and other benefits as teachers do…
who get paid more and who get better benefits, a teacher with a master’s degree or a school nurse with a BSN?
I’m interested in both, and the schooling would be the same (only a year) for me to do either, but I’d like to have good pay and benefits…
Would be working in New England states (Maine, Mass, NH, Connecticut, Pennsylvannia, VT….).
