Be careful about this. If you go abroad long term, you can lose your green card. Make sure you get a letter from immigration saying that they will allow you to attend a foreign university without losing your green card before you do it.
Filipino universities have well-respected nursing programs. There may be some extra work you will have to do to get RN status if your education is abroad, but it sounds like reasonably good idea, on the whole.

I know two years would seem a long time, but i would wait since residents of california get to go to college pretty much for free. Then you don’t the hassle of paying for college debt while starting out, since it takes atleast two years of intense scholling to become an RN which means no work on the side. Get an easy job, save your money for when you go to college, and enjoy yourself for those to years before becoming a citizen. Good luck.
