Short Answer: UCSD
Long Answer: The reason why I selected UCSD is because they have a good medical program but according to my research, it's definitely not as good as UCSF. Now if you don't mind going out of state, I would recommend Columbia University or Univ. of Washington. UCLA is great for business but for nursing, I would stick with UCSD. Don't even think about UCSB unless you can't get into anything else. I'm not saying their program isn't good, but I just thought it isn't as good as the others you've mentioned. I've not yet known a nursing student who graduated and couldn't find a job.
The Good News: Right now with nursing as one of the most wanted jobs, I wouldn't even worry about going to the top big schools because no matter what, you're a nurse. I know nurses that had made plenty of "minor" mistakes and still kept the job because it's difficult for hospitals to find nurses.
Being a Neonatal nurse is very rewarding because you get to see newborn children but based on my experience and what I've seen high-up nurses do is that they take a few business management class. Even without a business degree, those classes will look great on your resume because it shows you have what it takes to lead and manage a team of nurses. Wherever you end up, I wish you the best and thank you for stepping up!

I am not going to answer this question. I am going to tell you how much I despise you for disliking John McCain so strongly. Got news for you honey, McCain was going to improve health care more than Obama. I am planning to become a surgeon, and also enlisting in the marines with my duty as helping soldiers. I am only 13, but this is my life dream. Too bad, the only way I will get to Medical School is if magically I pull a scholarship out of no where! My family will not be able to send 6 children to college! If McCain had gotten in, I would have been able to be enrolled in private school for my 4 years in high school. The benefits that would have come from that would have been tremendous, and I was really excited. Now I have almost lost all hope because this man is president. I was planning on going to John Hopkins or Columbia. Since I do not want to be that cruel, I would suggest either one of those. Columbia University is in New York, and John Hopkins University is in Maryland. That would be farther from your home. I am sorry if I have offended you in any way by expressing my views, but having family giving their life in Iraq and not having Obama support them upsets me immensely. Thank you, and have a nice evening.
