Nursing School Questions?

I am at Mississippi State University majoring in Food and Nutrition. I like the Nutrition and all that, but the pay isn’t THAT great for Registered Dietitians. I know there are ALOT of job opportunities for nurses and I am thinking about doing nursing. My questions are:
1. How long is nursing school?
2. I have already taken Organic, Chem 1, Chem 2, Zoology, Microbiology. Will this help me at all?
3. What is pay like for a nurse?
4. How hard is nursing school? I know it is difficult, but is it totally impossible? I am a good 3.5 GPA student…
