Nursing School Or Stay In My New Job With All My Benefits And A 8-5 Day?

I just got a B.S. in Social Sciences and have gotten a pretty nice job that is 9-5, and includes full benefits I work for the state of Mississippi. I have always secretly wanted to try nursing. My mom is a RN and she says that I should stick with what I am doing. I like my Job, I just don’t want to miss out on a an opportunity that I could regret. I already have most of the Pre-requs for Nursing school. Just not sure taking that plunge is right, especially with the economy. I have just always thought it would be such an exciting, hardworking and rewarding career. Any advice would help. Thank you!
