Nursing Adn Degree In Georgia Misdemeanor Drug Charges?
This Question From Georgia Nursing Schools | The Question Has 1 Answer
Hello, I’m a little embarrassed to ask about this. I am planning on becoming an ADN (Registered Nurse). I’ve completed all of the prerequisite courses with all A’s and I’ve been accepted into the program, but I’m scared that that I may have a misdemeanor (less than an ounce) charge for possession of marijuana on my record. I’m concerned whether or not I should change my college career path because of this–I know that once I graduate the ADN Program and pursue employment, every hospital is going to run a background check and possibly see the misdemeanor charge. I’m scared that I’m going to work hard and complete my ADN and then have great difficulty being hired anywhere. Any advice is VERY appreciated, thank you so much.
