Jobs For Newly Graduated Nurses?

I will be starting nursing school very soon and have been looking for jobs in Virginia and Ohio. I wanted to be a nurse for a number of reasons but one of them happened to be because of the demand and shortage. I have been looking for RN postings in VA and OH and am getting discouraged because I see that under the requirements for some positions, at least 1 years experience is needed. I am worried that when I graduate, a hospital or doctor will not want to take the chance on me because I have no experience, thus how am I to get this “experience” if no one is willing to let me gain any? Do new nurses have a lot of trouble finding a position because they lack experience? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
