But the starting pay for CNA's are about $8-9 per hour. You would have to be in a job for about 4 years to rise to $12.00. So becomming a CNA depends on what's more important, the 12 bucks an hour or the experience. The Pharmacy Tech is a sure $12.00 per hour, maybe more. And probably give you experience for the nursing field also. So, if it's money, than Pharmacy Tech is the way to go. Good Luck.
