Absolutely not. We have universal precautions for a reason. At no time should your blood or body fluids be in contact with another person’s blood or body fluids. There is absolutely no reason why a person with hepatitis or HIV or any other blood borne disease shouldn’t be able to take care of patients!

That is like asking if a person that has HIV cannot be a nurse….WRONG, and if they wold not let them they could sew on grounds of descriminaion.

I believe so. Most severe medical problems would stop you from caring for others.
