Moved to Virginia from Ohio and have been here for 2 years almost. He got a job promotion, and I decided to follow him. Now that I have been here, we have been fighting and arguing so so so much. When we used to argue, I could go and talk to my mom, or my friends. I am only 23 and he is 28, btw. Since we have been here, I have felt like things have happened that wouldn’t have happened if we were back in Ohio. I feel like it has driven a wedge between us. I told him many times I want to go back home, and even tried to convince him that instead of signing the new lease in Feb of 2009, we should move back home. My mom offered her home until we get back on our feet, but he refused. He said that when I get my nursing degree things will be better between us, and that we can move back then. But I can get my nursing degree in Ohio too. I have cried many times about missing my family, and he is not too sensitive to me. I feel like if he really loved me he would want to make me happy. I have tried to stay beside him for 2 years, but it is getting harder. I am starting to resent him for making me feel like I need to stay some place I absolutely hate, and he hates it here too. The only thing here for him is his job, and the beachHe doesn’t really like my family, so I figure maybe that is why he doesn’t want to go back. I am starting to feel like I am falling out of love with him. I have even offered to go back to Ohio so that I can get a degree faster, and we would have a long distance relationship for 22 months, but I would be doing it for us in the long run. But he acts so nasty to me when I offered that. I feel like I am being unreasonable, but also feel like my emotions are being destroyed. I am miserable here and he knows it, so why does he want me to stay? Neither of us have family here either
