My parents had to leave in the middle of the night for a conference in Delaware, and they said they’d be home in two days, tops. They literally begged me not to have to come home from school for anything, and not to ruin the house. I woke up at 4 o’clock this morning and immediately threw up all over the bed. I spent an hour on the toilet with diarrhea, throwing up into the trashcan. Around 5 o’clock, I crawled back into bed and slept for an hour. I woke up at like 6:30, feeling completely fine except that my stomach hurt a bit. I completely ignored it, because I was really hungry, and ate 12 frozen pancakes and 3 huge glasses of orange juice. At 7:30 I was on the bus, feeling horribly nauseous again. Luckily, (although I was stupid about eating 12 pancakes and 3 glasses of orange juice) I wasn’t stupid enough to forget a bag. I grabbed it out of my backpack and immediately began dry-heaving and burping gas. Strangely though, nothing would come out. At that moment my stomach was doing donkey kicks, swirling and feeling like it was getting stabbed by 1,000 knives. The bus stopped and I ran off, straight to the bathroom and locked myself in a stall. I had horrible runny diarrhea for 20 minutes, and threw up for 10, already missing half of first period. I didn’t want to have to explain, so I sat on the toilet for the last half hour, passing gas and burping. I went and sat through second period, and third, but after all of fourth period in the bathroom, filling 4 brown paper bags with vomit, and having to flush the toilet 10 times because of extreme diarrhea I decided to go to the nurse, no matter how much it hurt my parents. At our school, you physically had to pass out to be sent home, so the nurse gave me Imodium and sent me back to class. I’m now in 6th period english, on the laptop when I’m supposed to be typing an essay. Is this a stomach bug and should I walk out of school?
