I need help with major guardianship issues?

This Question From Mississippi Nursing Schools | The Question Has 2 Answers

Heres the situation, my fiance has a 15 month old son. Her parents wanted her out of their house and were not leaving her with many options so I told her she could move in with me. Since this the parents have a big issue with her living with me. Before she moved out she was told by her parents that she had to sign guardianship of her son over to them or they would not help her at all. She had gotten accepted into nursing school here in mississippi and they were at that time saying we want to help so sign these and we can watch him mon – thurs and you have him the rest of the time. Needless to say things have changed they now make demands that she pick him up on this date at this time or just drop him off at the house with no knowledge to us. Do not get the wrong idea we take him every chance we get but sometimes she has school and I also work 8-5 and go to class 6-9.Here recently they tried to drop him off and we were not home so this made them mad and they are now saying he is either to come here full time which i can not afford or they are going to take full custody of him? Are either of those possible? Could they just say here were done with him and drop him off for good or just take him from her all together? She is a great mother who spends every bit of money she happens to get on her son. He literally has a bedroom full of christmas toys already. Also, the lawyer they use does not charge them because he is a friend of the family BUT would it not be a conflict of interest to use him in the process of taking the child away since she is friends with him and his wife, she has babysat for them and everything in the past? Thanks to all that can help!
while the void comment is interesting the situation we are in is that we cannot afford the child here full time, they told her to get out and she came to me. they seem to have this thing where they always pop in to make things harder than they already are on us with us both being full time students and I work full time and she part time. Can they just say we no longer want guardianship and that be it he has to come here full time or do they have to hold to what they signed and keep him until we are financially prepared to take him on full time?
ok then what does it take for a judge to take a mothers rights away? she would need to be a horrible mother or something right? also does anyone know about the conflict of interest situation with the lawyer?
