I have no hope in getting into any nursing school?

My gpa is a 3.1 and I know that’s not good enough. What is the point of applying. I feel very down right now and I wish I tried harder earlier. I heard that you need at least a 3.5 to get in. Massachusetts has a lot of nursing schools and if I apply for most of them, what are the chances of getting into one? I don’t want to waste money on applications if there is no chance of getting in. Be honest please.
