How do I become a Nurse Anesthetist?

This Question From Arkansas Nursing Schools | The Question Has 1 Answer

Hi, I’m a junior in high school, 16 years old guy and I’m thinking about becoming a registered nurse after high school. I know before I do anything in nursing that I need an Associates or Bachelors in Nursing but I’m going to go ahead and get my BSN first. After that, I’m sort of lost. I don’t know where to go from there. I plan on attending University of Central Arkansas to get my Bachelor of Science in Nursing but I think the only Nurse Anesthesia program in Arkansas is located in Jonesboro at Arkansas State University. And I’ve read that you can’t go into Advanced Nursing degrees until you’ve had 1-4 years of experience in the ICU. So please help me on finding out what I need to do. Would it be smarter to go to University of Central Arkansas (UCA) or Arkansas State University (ASU) to get my Bachelor?
