Hopes of being a Pediatrician, Question/help.?
This Question From Montana Nursing Schools | The Question Has 4 Answers
I’m currently a senior in highschool, taking a CNA class.
I get certified on the 23rd of Jan.
Taking this class and my anatomy.physiology class really helped me decide i want to be a pediatrician.
I do really well remembering medical terms, body parts organs, etc.
And I want to do something that helps others, and I love kids.
I also love psychology!
So I decided I wanted to be a pediatrician,
but today after my nursing class.
My teacher, whose an RN, told me I’ll need a miracle to get into medical school.
Because right now i currently have a GPA of 2.83.
But its my sports( i played two different sports the same season), So it was hard these previous years with keeping my grade up. and i had a job last year.
I’ve always been good in biology, and anatomy, also psychology. (oh language arts and history too but i don’t think that counts.)
Everything else is my downfall.
Even after mentioning just a few of these things to her, she says
I NEED a 4.0 to get into med school.
And believes i’ll need a miracle to get it in college next year.
Is this true?
Oh and I’ve already been acceptted into Montana State University for cell biology & neuroscience.
