I am joining east orange, n.j.’s community emergency response team(C.E.R.T) late this june. It is a volunteer service..u can google it for info. But the reason why i want to volunteer is only to recieve free training as an emt. After doing research for this volunteer service, I have not found any resource to free emt training. I have asked a nursing school teacher and she said to get involved in your towns emergency squad which will be this group i have chose to volunteer in. Any suggestions??
