Does anyone have advice on a great university/school for someone going into secondary education?
This Question From South Carolina Nursing Schools | The Question Has 1 Answer
I want to teach English and Theater at the high school level, and need to start looking for a four-year college to transfer to. I have about a year left until I receive my Associates in Liberal Arts with an English Concentration. I am worried about finding a school with a great reputation for its School of Education, as well as being cost-effective (my wife and I are both full time students, work full time, and are raising a one-year old daughter, so money is ALWAYS an issue). It would also need to have an active theater department. I would like to find a school in the Mid-West or down South (our families are in Indiana, Georgia, and South Carolina). I know I am asking a lot, but I have a lot to consider besides just my education… my wife’s ability to find a good paying job as a nurse, close proximity to family, and hopefully jobs available for me when I graduate. If anyone has any great suggestions, it would be appreciated! Thank you.
