I pleaded to misdemeanor theft by deception in 2008 for WIC. My case was deferred adjudicated and the court put me on probation and later dismissed the proceeding against me. The Texas Nursing board gave me conditional eligibility which I have not yet signed. Do I need a lawyer to see if I can get better deal or is conditional eligibility not a big deal for admission to Nursing School. I have almost all As in my prerequisites and I good percentage in the entrance exam.
