You could call the state board of nursing where you live and ask them what kinds of offenses disqualify you from licensure. If you're really worried, you could probably go to the court and ask the judge to expunge the record, especially if you've stayed out of trouble - how long ago was the charge? Judges often look kindly upon people who are trying to better their lives through education, especially education for a public service like nursing. Good luck. I’m sure it’s fine.
