You can get a bachelor&#039;s in nursing at almost any California state college. Some universities offer it too (Irvine and UCLA). The other option is getting your associates degree in nursing at a community college level and then transferring to to a state university to get a bachelor&#039;s. Only after you get your bachelor&#039;s can you perhaps specialize in an area such as pediatrics. For this, you would need a master&#039;s in a university. However, it is possible to just get a bachelor&#039;s in nursing, get a job, and then later on get a job on the pediatrics ward and gain experience there. You would not need a master&#039;s, it just looks good if you do it.</description>
