There is no such thing as a pediatric nursing major. The major is just generally known as the nursing major. You can get a bachelor’s in nursing at almost any California state college. Some universities offer it too (Irvine and UCLA). The other option is getting your associates degree in nursing at a community college level and then transferring to to a state university to get a bachelor’s. Only after you get your bachelor’s can you perhaps specialize in an area such as pediatrics. For this, you would need a master’s in a university. However, it is possible to just get a bachelor’s in nursing, get a job, and then later on get a job on the pediatrics ward and gain experience there. You would not need a master’s, it just looks good if you do it.
