Are There Areas Where I Can Get A Job After Nursing School That Help With Relocation/living Expenses?
This Question From Maine Nursing Schools | The Question Has 1 Answer
I am hoping to enter nursing school in the fall. It is a community college that offers an Associates Degree in Nursing to prepare you to take the NCLEX for RN. My concern is that there is no need for nurses in Maine, so it is going to be next to impossible to get a job, especially a well paying job after I graduate.
I know there are a bunch of states that are hard up for nurses, like Arizona and California. I was told by someone in the Yahoo community that in her state they pay living expenses in addition to a high salary. I don’t know what state she lives in though. I would love to move to California especially the Sacramento area (cause it’s relatively far from fault lines) as well as North Carolina, but I’m pretty much open to move anywhere – wherever the money is.
Money is an issue and will be two years from now, so I’m wondering if anyone knows of states or agencies that will 1) hire a nurse right out of nursing school and 2) help with relocation/living expenses. Is this possible? (Say yes!)
