Anyone know of any schools in the USA that offer students just the clinical portion for a Nursing Degree (BSN)?

This Question From Pennsylvania Nursing Schools | The Question Has 1 Answer

Hey everybody!

Currently I am a nursing student at a school in Pa. Unfortunately, its a 2 and 2 year program where they do the prerequisites first and then the clinical portion after wards. We have to apply to get into the clinical portion of the program once we have all the prerequisites completed (for example Chem I and Anatomy etc).

As far as I know, only Temple University (where I’m going) and Jefferson offer students the opportunity to complete just the clinical portion of a BSN in the state of Pennsylvania. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good nursing schools that allow a student to complete just the clinical part. Because a lot of the schools around here that I talked to say that I can apply to their respective nursing program but I would have to start their program from day one (basically the credits I took over the last year would count for nothing)

As far as why I don’t continue at Temple is that there are 70 seats available for their nursing program (60 of which are for Temple students) and roughly 400 people apply for those seats each year. So there is no guarantee that I will get into Temple or Jefferson for that matter
