   No.
   Your bursary is more generous than the loan most students have to live on. You will actually take home more money than some of the employees you will be working beside on the ward.

   no not really, I am doing the nursing diploma and wanted a grant aswell but they say you cant because ur government funded and that should be enough. You can apply for an access to learning fund once ur enrolled and they can grant you a one of payment of up to about £1,500 but you must explain why you need this money/provide evidence of your hardship.
